(2) Project Technical Assistant
[Appointment period: six months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Automotive component data-driven and real-time predictive universal vehicle self-diagnosis system”.
Qualifications
For the post of Postdoctoral Fellow, applicants should have:
(a) a PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI or a related discipline and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) experience in edge AI, machine learning, distributed computing or model optimization and good Python or C/C++ programming skills; and
(c) ability to conduct independent research, analyse experimental results and prepare technical reports and publications.
For the post of Project Technical Assistant, applicants should have:
(a) a higher diploma or a diploma or an equivalent qualification in the appropriate discipline plus at least three years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
(b) skills in vehicle sensors, data acquisition, hardware/software integration, equipment maintenance and field testing.
