Part-time Research Assistant (several posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Go global or go bust: The internationalization of Chinese enterprises and entrepreneurial philanthropy”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in designing research tools such as experiments and questionnaires;
(b) conduct data processing and analysis; and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Computational Social Science or other related disciplines;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have knowledge of Git, LaTeX and reproducible research practices;
(d) be proficient in using statistical software such as Stata, R or Python; and
(e) be proficient in handling large dataset for scraping, cleaning and structuring;
Preference will be given to those with experience in transformer-based NLP, agent-based modeling, configurational methods, structural equation modeling, experimental or survey-based HCI research and/or representation-learning techniques.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
