Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Joint Research Centre for AI Taxation” (RCAIT). He/she will be required to:
(a) support the core RCAIT project, including analysing multimodal data, developing customer intent recognition models, building intent knowledge graphs and ontologies, and developing models for common-issue discovery, evaluation, prioritisation and root-cause attribution;
(b) carry out innovative research and development, provide project application support for the development of a federated collaborative agents (FedAgent) platform and participate in research project development for initiatives such as the Lifestyle Healthcare and Raise+ projects;
(c) support the translation of academic research into industrial applications and the preparation of patents and research papers; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Director of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have solid academic background from a reputable University;
(c) have research or engineering experience in Federated Learning, Large Foundation Models, Collaborative Agents or FedAgent, etc.;
(d) have a good command of both English and Chinese; and
(e) be self-motivated.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
