Project Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project “The impact of climate change on exports of the belt and road countries”.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have strong Python-based data engineering skills with demonstrated experience in automated web scraping and document parsing;
(c) be proficient in integrating Chinese corporate database APIs and conducting bulk extraction, entity resolution, and string matching across large-scale unstructured datasets; and
(d) preferably have experience in managing and cleaning panel datasets via Stata, R, or SQL.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
