Part-time Project Associate

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Embedding 3D spatial design elements into classrooms”. The project aims at developing teaching tools to foster students’ learning and encourage problem-solving in Environmental Engineering classes. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the development of instructional materials and resources for immersive learning;
(b) attend undergraduate and postgraduate classes to help implement new teaching methods;
(c) assist in collecting data on student outcomes and experiences related to the project; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or a good honours degree with five or more years of relevant work experience in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or other related disciplines;
(b) be familiar 3D spatial modelling and related digital tools;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(d) have a good understanding of environmental and planning concepts;
(e) be interested in exploring and implementing new learning and teaching tools and methods; and
(f) be self-motivated, well-organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$181 per hour.
