Part-time Research Assistant (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Co-designing a patient navigation program to enhance screening and management of metabolic comorbidities among cancer survivors: A participatory research involving multiple stakeholders”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in the preparation of research instruments, including interview topic guide, questionnaires, and other relevant documents;
(b) support the recruitment and screening of participants with a history of stage I - III colorectal, breast or cervical cancer and metabolic comorbidities;
(c) coordinate and carry out data collection, including subjective interview and consultation activities;
(d) analyse qualitative and quantitative data;
(e) assist in intervention protocol development, implementation and evaluation;
(f) assist in writing reports, preparing manuscripts and disseminating findings to academic and practice communities; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua;
(c) have experience and/or training in research data collection;
(d) possess strong knowledge of and skills in qualitative methods, such as framework method and thematic analysis, as well as statistical analysis;
(e) have a strong sense of responsibility, be a good team player, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills; and
(f) be interested in cancer survivorship care research.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
