Part-time Research Associate

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Integrating generalist and specialist in cancer survivorship care: Framework development and stakeholder consultation”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature reviews on integrated primary care-oncology models and generalist-specialist interface mechanisms for cancer survivorship care;
(b) assist in developing consultation materials for healthcare service providers and cancer survivors;
(c) assist in manuscript preparation; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology or a related discipline or a good honours degree in one of the said disciplines with at least three years of research/relevant work experience;
(b) have a good command of both spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have strong academic writing skills in English;
(d) have experience in conducting scoping or systematic reviews;
(e) possess knowledge of, skills, and/or experience in using Microsoft Visio or other relevant patient-journey mapping tools;
(f) have a strong sense of responsibility, be a good team player, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills; and
(g) be interested in cancer survivorship care research.
Preference will be given to those with relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$181 per hour.
