Research Assistant

[Appointment period: two months]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Impact of later life events on criminal trajectories among older offenders in Hong Kong: A qualitative mixed-methods approach”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    conduct literature review;

(b)    conduct data processing and analysis;

(c)    prepare and design handbooks, presentation materials and edit videos;

(d)    organise workshops and seminars; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have an honours degree in Social Sciences or other related disciplines;

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

(c)    be self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded, and able to multi-task.

Preference will be given to those with prior experience as a research assistant.
