Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project – “Execution assurance for autonomous dining: Enabling safe and trusted agentic commerce”. He/She will be required to:
(a) develop and implement AI agent systems, backend services and software modules for the execution assurance agentic platform;
(b) build and integrate large language model-based interaction agents, execution assurance modules, device abstraction layers and evidence recording services;
(c) develop APIs and middleware for communication between AI agents and physical devices, including cooking robots, coffee machines and vending systems;
(d) conduct system integration, software testing, performance evaluation and prototype deployment;
(e) assist in project documentation, technical reports, demonstrations and collaboration with industrial partners; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification;
(b) strong programming skills in Python, with experience with C++, Java or Go being an advantage;
(c) familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker, databases and software engineering best practices; and
(d) strong problem-solving ability and teamwork skills.
Preference will be given to those with experience in one or more of the following areas: Large Language Models, AI agents, backend development, distributed systems, IoT systems, cloud computing and/or robotics integration.
