Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Oracle complexity bounds of first-order methods for nonsmooth optimization with nonconvex function constraints”. They will be required to conduct theoretical analysis, algorithm implementation, numerical experiments, literature review and research writing.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related disciplines and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Preference will be given to those who have background in nonlinear/stochastic optimization and proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
