Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “Development and pilot test of a Chinese medicine diabetes education program”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in data entry and analysis for the project;
(b) assist in drafting and revising academic manuscripts;
(c) assist in preparing and organising materials for journal submission and publication;
(d) assist in daily administrative tasks related to data analysis and publication; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in a health-related, biomedical, data analytics or other relevant disciplines;
(b) have an academic, clinical or research background in healthcare, biomedical sciences and/or data analysis;
(c) have good computer literacy including MS Office applications, Chinese word processing and common statistical or data-handling software;
(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;
(e) have good organisational, interpersonal and writing skills; and
(f) demonstrate initiative and be conscientious and responsible.
Preference will be given to those with experience in data analysis and/or academic writing.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125.
