Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “A human-like progressive learning paradigm for embodied AI: Meta skills for robots by watching and imagination”. He/She will be required to:
(a) design and develop robotic control and experimental platforms, including system modeling, integration and calibration;
(b) conduct research on adaptive, robust, safety and human-robot collaborative control;
(c) develop dynamic modeling and visual servoing methods and implementing real-time control algorithms;
(d) conduct simulations and experiments, including data collection and performance evaluation;
(e) assist in the preparation of research publications, including journal papers and technical reports;
(f) support daily research activities and collaborate with team members; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification.
