Research Associate (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Lexical tone perception in Hong Kong Cantonese-speaking children with autism: An investigation of age-related differences using behavioral and EEG measures”. He/She will be required to:
(a) design and conduct behavioural and neuro-imaging (e.g., EEG and fMRI);
(b) process, analyse, and explain data collected above;
(c) draft conference and journal manuscripts;
(d) help the Principal Investigator to manage research projects; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a master’s degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) good knowledge of using E-Prime, R, Praat, and MATLAB;
(c) good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(d) solid experience in conducting research involving child participants, particularly those with autism, would be an advantage.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$181 per hour.
