Assistant Officer

Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) support the planning and coordination of events, marketing and branding initiatives, as well as global engagement and partnership activities;
(b) assist in the development, management, and enhancement of the Faculty’s social media platforms and other online promotion channels;
(c) support the cultivation of partnerships and engagement opportunities, and maintain effective communication with key external stakeholders, including overseas counterparts, alumni, students, donors, industry partners and other collaborators;
(d) foster collaboration and coordinate with internal stakeholders across the University in support of the Faculty’s strategic initiatives and operations;
(e) provide secretarial and logistic support for committees, office meetings and daily management; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty and the Faculty Secretary or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree and at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience with a good track record in marketing and event management;
(b) be able to work proactively and independently within a team, manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines;
(c) have excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving and analytical skills;
(d) have strong computer and digital literacy, including proficiency in office software, and the ability to adapt to and leverage new digital tools and technologies; and
(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
