Administrative Assistant

Duties 

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    assist in the procurement processes, including the preparation of purchase orders and tenders;

(b)    handle reimbursements, claims and membership fees;

(c)    maintain the office directory and telephone list;

(d)    manage the booking of meeting rooms and classrooms;

(e)    handle visitor access, including generation of QR code and reservation of car parking spaces;

(f)     provide administrative support to academic programmes, office management and the daily operations of the General Office; and 

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)    have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; 

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua; 

(c)    have good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; 

(d)    be pleasant and have a positive work attitude; and

(e)    be able to work in a team and have good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
