Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    provide administrative and clerical support to the Office to ensure smooth running and operations of the Office;

(b)    assist in general office administration, repair and maintenance, student helper related matters, database management, web site updating and report compilation;

(c)    assist in functions and projects including logistic and operational support in a customer services oriented manner;

(d)    provide operational duties of the venues under the management of the Office in a customer services oriented manner;

(e)    provide reception and counter services, handle general enquiries from students, staff, visitors and members of the public, and refer enquiries to relevant colleagues or units as appropriate;

(f)    maintain proper and systematic record and filing of all documents of the Office;

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his/her delegates.

The appointee will be required to work in rotation and beyond normal office hours when necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;

(b)    at least two years of solid and relevant experience;

(c)    strong passion in art and culture;

(d)    good interpersonal and communication skills;

(e)    the ability to work independently, proactively, and to handle multiple tasks concurrently;

(f)    a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and

(g)    good knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Photoshop, 
FrontPage, Chinese word processing and basic knowledge of HTML webpage implementation.

Conditions of Service 

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
