Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “One health, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in collaborative research projects on infectious diseases, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics and AI in infectious diseases, and one health;
(b) assist in laboratory experiments and data collection;
(c) conduct literature review and summarise research findings;
(d) prepare figures, tables and other materials for scientific manuscripts;
(e) assist in the preparation and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a master’s degree in Molecular Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, Bioinformatics or other related disciplines from a reputable university or a well-recognised university or a good honours degree in the said disciplines with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
