[Appointment period: each for twelve to twenty-four months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “One health, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in collaborative research projects on infectious diseases, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics and AI in infectious diseases, and one health;
(b) assist in laboratory experiments and data collection;
(c) conduct literature review and summarise research findings;
(d) prepare figures, tables and other materials for scientific manuscripts;
(e) assist in the preparation and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have an honours degree in Molecular Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, Bioinformatics or other related disciplines.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
Consideration of applications will commence on 21 August 2026 until the positions are filled.
