The Policy Research Institute for Education, Technology and Talents (the Institute) will be established on 1 September 2026. It will leverage PolyU’s strengths in research, innovation, knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary collaboration to provide policy insights and practical solutions in the areas of education, technology and talents.
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) conduct literature review, data collection and data analysis for research projects;
(b) assist in proposal writing for research grants;
(c) prepare research reports;
(d) provide administrative support to research projects and/or related activities;
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Institute or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work on irregular hours and travel to the Chinese Mainland.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or a good honours degree from a recognised university in education, technology, social sciences, policy studies, political sciences, business administration, or other related disciplines, with three or more years of research / relevant work experience;
(b) be able to demonstrate strong scientific writing skills;
(c) have a good command of English and Chinese, fluency in both Cantonese and Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) have good computer literacy, including MS Office, and Chinese and English word processing;
(e) have good analytical, problem-solving, organisational and interpersonal skills; and
(f) be attentive to details and have a strong sense of responsibility.
