Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Migration, early learning experiences, and school readiness in the AI era”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature reviews;
(b) collect, manage and analyse quantitative and qualitative research data;
(c) assist in report writing and manuscript preparation; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree, preferably in Social Work, Education, Sociology, Psychology or other social sciences related disciplines, or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have experience in conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research;
(d) be proficient in using statistical software (e.g. Stata, Mplus or R);
(e) have a strong sense of responsibility, be detail-oriented, and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills; and
(f) have experience and/or a strong interest in early childhood research.
