Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Listening to children and youth in Hong Kong residential child care services: Unpacking the impact of intrapersonal and interpersonal processes of child and youth voices in decision-making on psychological health”. They will be required to:
(a) design and conduct quantitative research in the fields of psychology and social work;
(b) analyse and interpret the collected data;
(c) draft manuscripts and proposals;
(d) support research activities; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree, preferably in Psychology, Social Work or other related disciplines and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree, preferably in one of the above-mentioned disciplines with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree, preferably in one of the above-mentioned disciplines.
Applicants should also:
(a) have experience in writing research papers and proposals;
(b) have experience in analysing longitudinal data with RI-CLPM and Dynamic SEM;
(c) be proficient in using statistical software programs such as SPSS, R or Mplus;
(d) have good academic English writing skills with publications in refereed journals;
(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese;
(f) be self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded and able to multi-task; and
(g) be responsible and able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rates are HK$385 per hour for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow, HK$181 per hour for the post of Research Associate and HK$125 per hour for the post of Research Assistant.
