Research Associate / Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project – “AI-powered grading and feedback assistant tools for reflection in service-learning”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the design, and development of an AI-powered assessment and feedback system for university service-learning courses;
(b) coordinate pilot implementation of an AI-powered assessment and feedback system;
(c) assist in the design, execution and coordination of quantitative/qualitative evaluations on an AI-powered assessment and feedback system;
(d) assist in conducting quantitative/qualitative data analyses; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Statistics or other related disciplines or a good honours degree in one of the said disciplines with at least three years of relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Research Assistant should have an honours degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also have:
(a) good knowledge of and skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis using relevant computer software;
(b) good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(c) the ability to coordinate various research and/or evaluation activities across multiple academic departments.
Preference will be given to those with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in working with people at different levels in a university setting.
