Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Uncovering real-time brain mechanisms of word composition by bridging neuroimaging and multimodal models”. They will be required to:
(a) help build a multimodal system that integrates EEG, camera footage, and physiological signals;
(b) develop and implement algorithms for signal processing and user intent decoding;
(c) work with a Generative AI (GenAI) backbone to generate context-aware text responses;
(d) contribute to testing and refining the system for robustness in everyday environments; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or a Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field;
(b) hands-on experience with programming (e.g., Python);
(c) an interest in AI, machine learning, signal processing, or human-computer interaction; and
(d) a passion for creating technology that has a direct and positive social impact.
