Part-time Project Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Development of an independent randomization system”. He/She will be required to:
(a) support the development, enhancement and maintenance of the web-based randomisation system for the FHSS Clinical Trials Unit;
(b) assist in system testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance;
(c) collaborate with the research team to translate study requirements into system functionalities and workflows;
(d) assist in system deployment, documentation and version control;
(e) support data management processes, including data validation, security and access control;
(f) liaise with internal and external stakeholders on system-related matters; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification;
(b) be familiar with developing web-based applications;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua;
(d) have the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively; and
(e) have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
