Human Resources Officer / Assistant Human Resources Officer (Temporary Appointment)

[Appointment period: six to eight months initially, with the possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist the project team in preparing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts and conducting UAT for a newly developed system;
(b) provide administrative and logistics support to the development of system, including preparing and checking related documentation, system layout and reports;
(c) coordinate and arrange meetings, user engagement sessions, training sessions and workshops, as well as prepare related materials, e.g. PowerPoint slides, etc.;
(d) support the project team in communicating and liaising with users, external parties, academic units and other related units on implementation of the system;
(e) handle enquiries, maintain an issue log and perform follow-up tasks; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree plus some relevant working experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;
(c) have good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word and Excel, preferably with proficiency in PowerPoint;
(d) have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good liaison and organisational skills;
(e) be meticulous and able to perform tasks independently;
(f) be able to perform data analysis;
(g) be self-motivated, willing to learn and contribute ideas for work improvements; and
(h) be a good team player.
Preference will be given to those with experience in system development.
Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Human Resources Officer.
