Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “PolyU-WIT research laboratory for energy materials intelligent manufacturing”.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) research experience in photovoltaics or other energy materials, with a good track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals;
(c) familiarity with AI-driven or automation-assisted approaches to materials research, including data-driven experimentation, high-throughput screening, or autonomous laboratory systems; and
(d) strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different disciplines including AI, robotics and materials science.
