Clerk (Temporary Appointment)

[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    provide administrative support at the Rehabilitation Clinic and Tam Wing Fan Rehabilitation Service Centre (Occupational Therapy);

(b)    provide front-desk service at Clinic’s service sites including handling face-to-face, phone and email enquiries; 

(c)    handle appointment booking, payment, billing and invoicing;

(d)    follow up payment with clients, clinics, corporate and insurance companies; 

(e)    operate the patient record management system; 

(f)     manage the inventory of medical supplies; 

(g)    raise requisition orders for purchasing equipment, services and medical supplies; 

(h)    provide information for further consolidating the monthly income and expenditure statements; and

(i)     perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.

The appointee is required to work on shift, outside normal office hours and on weekends as applicable.

Qualifications 

Applicants should:

(a)    have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; or a recognised certificate/diploma or an equivalent qualification;

(b)    have at least two years of working experience;

(c)    have a fair command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with knowledge of Putonghua;

(d)    have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; 

(e)    have basic knowledge of accounting principles;

(f)     have good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills; and

(g)    be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preference will be given to those with relevant working experience in a clinic.
