Postdoctoral Fellow

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Development of Chinese young people and families”. He/She will be required to:
(a) collect and analyse data;
(b) conduct literature review and draft manuscripts;
(c) assist in administrative work; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related disciplines or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have good knowledge of analysing longitudinal data using statistical software such as Mplus and R;
(d) have good interpersonal skills;
(e) be responsible; and
(f) be able to work independently as we as be a good team player.
