Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Development of advanced athleticwear and performance technology”. He/She will be required to:
(a) design and conduct experiments;
(b) collect and process experimental data;
(c) conduct administrative duties and compile progress reports for the project;
(d) coordinate results and analysis; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Dean of School or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or above in Sports Sciences, Fashion, Computer Science, Physical Education or related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) experience in research projects of human motion, foot geometry, collection and analysis of ergonomic, kinematic and kinetic data; and
(c) a good command of English.
Preference will be given to those with research experience in 3D human modelling and analysis, 3D shape correspondence, artificial intelligence, etc.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
