[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Revamp of AI-Adapted Curriculum”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    plan, organise and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including focus group meetings with professional bodies, industry employers, alumni, academic staff and students;

(b)    conduct benchmarking and analysis of AI integration to inform curriculum design recommendations;

(c)    support the design and piloting of AI-enhanced teaching, learning and assessment approaches; and

(d)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    a doctoral degree in Education / Construction / Surveying or a related field with at least three years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent qualification and experience, preferably with a bachelor degree in the afore-mentioned field;

(b)    a demonstrated understanding of the curriculum development processes in the higher education sector; 

(c)    good knowledge of AI applications (e.g., Generative AI in education and AI technologies in the built environment/surveying professions);

(d)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

(e)    strong self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility and excellent project coordination and organisational skills.
