Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research projects - “Age-friendly business recognition and capacity building programme”, “Enhancement of age-friendly business recognition and capacity building programme“, “Enhancement of empowering an inclusive, age-friendly silver economy in Hong Kong: From longitudinal evidence to intergenerational, multi-stakeholder action”, “Advancing health and well-being through family-integrated, AI-enhanced social work approaches: A PolyU-HUST collaborative research initiative” and/or “Research centre for gerontology and family studies”. They will be required to:
(a) plan, organise and deliver training courses, programmes, events and workshops;
(b) develop promotional strategies and partnerships with supporting organisations and stakeholders;
(c) maintain and update project websites and social media pages, manage datasets and reports, and support tasks related to educational toolkits and video production;
(d) conduct literature review and evaluation studies s;
(e) prepare funding applications, budgets, reports, manuals, publicity materials and handle project administration;
(f) liaise with internal and external partners, support visits, meetings and office administration at the Research Centre for Gerontology and Family Studies; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Counselling, Business or other related disciplines with at least three years of research/relevant work experience.
