Duties

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    provide comprehensive administrative support for taught postgraduate programmes, including admission, registration, examination and promotional activities; 

(b)    write reports and provide secretarial support to committees and meetings; 

(c)    support quality assurance and enhancement processes of academic programmes;

(d)    coordinate and organise experiential learning activities, including study trips; 

(e)    maintain accurate records and develop effective databases;

(f)     liaise with internal and external stakeholders; 

(g)    supervise and mentor junior staff; and

(h)    undertake any other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have a recognised degree with at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience; 

(b)    demonstrate strong attention to detail;

(c)    exhibit excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

(d)    be highly self-motivated and capable of working independently; 

(e)    have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); and

(f)     be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Preference will be given to those with solid relevant work experience in tertiary education institutions.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
