Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Deployment and impact evaluation of eye-tracking augmented and alternative communication technology for people with physical disabilities in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland”. They will be required to:
(a) design educational materials and manage social media;
(b) conduct supply chain analysis and manage cross-border partnerships;
(c) design training courses;
(d) assist in the daily operations of the Research Centre for Assistive Technology and the We-Care We-Share assistive technology service hub in the Chinese Mainland; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
The appointees may be required to travel to the Chinese Mainland frequently.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or above preferably in International Economics, Occupational Therapy, Communication or related disciplines or an equivalent qualification; and
(b) relevant experience in media, international trade or clinical rehabilitation.
Preference will be given to those with experience in social welfare communication, assistive technology assessment and training.
