Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Exploring ligand-metal secondary interactions: rational design of tunable phosphine ligands for enhanced catalytic performance”.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have at least three years but no more than five years of post-qualification professional research experience;
(c) have a strong research background in transition-metal catalysis;
(d) have demonstrated research experience in asymmetric synthesis/catalysis;
(e) be proficient in air-sensitive and moisture-sensitive synthetic techniques, including the operation of gloveboxes and standard schlenk-line methods; and
(f) have authored or co-authored high-impact peer-reviewed research publications.
