Project Officer (Temporary Appointment) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) prepare press releases, reports and meeting minutes in both English and Chinese;
(b) assist in the organisation of meetings, seminars and events in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland;
(c) provide administrative support, including data collection, record keeping and documentation;
(d) liaise with the University’s internal units, students, and external organisations, and handle related enquiries;
(e) maintain effective record systems and databases for programmes and associate activities; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship or his/her delegates.
Working on irregular hours including weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, and occasional travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree OR a recognised certificate/diploma or an equivalent qualification with at least three years’ relevant post qualification working experience;
(b) have experience in event management;
(c) have basic knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing;
(d) have good communication and interpersonal skills;
(e) be proactive, well-organised and attentive to details; and
(f) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
