Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “DataGuard-MMRAG: A dual-layer framework for data integrity and IP protection in multimodal retrieval-augmented generation”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of the DataGuard-MMRAG framework, including both layers of the dual-layer protection mechanism;
(b) conduct literature reviews and experimental studies on the multimodal retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, data integrity threats and intellectual property protection techniques;
(c) collaborate with the project team on benchmarking against existing RAG protection methods; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related discipline;
(b) strong programming skills in Python and experience in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch);
(c) familiarity with large language models, RAG or multimodal systems;
(d) good written and spoken English; and
(e) ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
Preference will be given to those with knowledge of data protection, watermarking or intellectual property issues in AI.
