Executive Assistant (Student Exchange)

Duties

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    liaise with stakeholders to facilitate the arrangement of outbound mobility programmes/activities;

(b)    provide administrative support to the outgoing mobility programmes/activities;

(c)    support the promotion of offshore educational programmes/activities; 

(d)    handle financial matters related to student subsidy and ensure the smooth disbursement of subsidies to student participants;

(e)    handle walk-in and email/telephone enquiries relating to student exchange programmes;

(f)     assist in departmental office administration; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Global Engagement or his/her delegates.

The appointee may be required to work beyond or outside office hours, including evenings and weekends occasionally.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a)    a recognised degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably with not less than two years of administrative experience in related areas of work;

(b)    good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills; 

(c)    a commitment to provide excellent customer service;

(d)    good hands-on computer skills; and

(e)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
