Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Exploring the promotion association between NCS students’ mentalities and reading skills through fostering student multimodal reading and home-school collaboration”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in conducting literature review;
(b) develop and conduct writing tasks and questionnaires;
(c) assist in data coding and basic data analysis;
(d) assist in managing the project;
(e) assist in preparing progress/final reports of the project and academic papers; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a Master’s degree or a good honours degree in Language Education, Educational Psychology, or a related discipline, with research/relevant work experience;
(b) a good understanding of the execution of projects in the setting of educational institutions;
(c) a good command of English and Chinese, preferably with an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or above;
(d) good knowledge of personal computer applications; and
(e) good interpersonal and communication skills.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
