Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “3D biomechanical model with soft tissue deformation for leggings design and evaluation”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the design and prototyping of leggings samples and conduct related fabric and material testing;
(b) assist in recruiting research subjects and managing experiment preparations;
(c) assist in 3D/4D body scanning and motion capture experiments;
(d) assist in the collection and analysis of scanning and motion capture data; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Dean of School or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Rehabilitation, Sports Science or related disciplines or an equivalent qualification; and
(b) good communication and teamwork skills.
Preference will be given to those with experience in 3D/4D body scanning or motion capture.
