Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Dynamic foot morphology and biomechanical modeling for sport-specific insole innovation in elite athlete performance and injury prevention”. He/She will be required to:
(a) design and conduct experiments;
(b) collect and process experimental data;
(c) conduct administrative duties and progress reports for the project;
(d) coordinate results and provide suitable training to project participants; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Dean of School or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or above in Sports Sciences, Human Biomechanics, Engineering Design, Fashion Technology, Computer Science, Physical Education or related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) experience in sports-related research projects, collection and analysis of kinematic and kinetic data from athletes; and
(c) a good command of English.
Preference will be given to those with research experience in engineering design, human modelling and analysis, mechanical / industrial engineering, textile material sciences and evaluation, design and development of footwear and insoles, artificial intelligence, etc.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
