Duties
The appointee will be required to
(a) implement marketing and media plans to achieve the mission and objectives of the Unit;
(b) organise and manage marketing and promotional activities and events, such as seminars, lectures, conferences and delegation visits, etc.;
(c) prepare promotional and communication materials, maintain and update websites and social media platforms, and other marketing channels;
(d) provide secretarial and administrative support for committees, working groups and meetings, including preparation of papers and minutes;
(e) maintain professional and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and organisations; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director/Executive Director of PolyU Academy for Artificial Intelligence or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) possess a recognised degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines;
(b) have at least five years of relevant post-qualification work experience;
(c) have strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to manage multiple priorities effectively;
(d) have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and professional attitude when engaging with different stakeholders;
(e) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua;
(f) have good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; and
(g) have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Preference will be given to those with working experience gained in tertiary institutions. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment at a lower rank.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
