Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) support the administration and daily operation of internship programmes, which include liaising with students, coordinating with internal and external parties, and preparing related documents;

(b) assist in conducting mentorship and career development programmes, filing documents, compiling reports and preparing promotional materials;

(c) provide administrative and logistic support to career development programmes / events / training of the Office and/or the Career and Placement Section;

(d) manage enquiry hotline and email accounts of the Office; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or his/her delegates.

The appointee will be required to work during non-office hours if necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree;

(b) have at least one year of work experience in administration, marketing or human resources, preferably working with university students;

(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua;

(d) be proficient in Microsoft Office;

(e) have strong interest in student development; and

(f) be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
