Assistant Engineer

Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) facilitate student learning and development, and assist in curriculum and pedagogy development;
(b) assist in research support and knowledge transfer activities;
(c) conduct essential activities for the operation of the assigned team;
(d) interact closely with stakeholders in the University; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Centre or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in AI or robotics-related field such as Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline;
(b) good knowledge of AI or robotic programming techniques;
(c) the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds in support of technical development projects; and
(d) a good command of both written and spoken English.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
