[Appointment period: six to twelve months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Next-generation durable structural frames based on smart FRP-steel sections”.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification, and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also:
(a) have a background in Mechanical Engineering and Automation; and
(b) be proficient in knowledge and/or technologies related to control systems.
Preference will be given to those with prior experience in the development of multi-axis additive manufacturing systems or continuous fibre-reinforced polymer additive manufacturing methods.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment(s), a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment(s), the remuneration rate for the posts of Research Assistant is HK$125 per hour.
