(1) Postdoctoral Fellow
[Appointment period: twenty-four months]
(2) Research Assistant (two posts)
[Appointment period: each for six months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - "Intelligent fibrous systems (INFUSE): Materials, devices, and integration".
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Polymers, Textiles, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in one of the afore mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
For both posts, applicants should have:
(a) strong hands-on skills in multiple fields including polymer processing, microfabrication, mechanical design and fabrication, textile manufacturing, electrical circuits and/or 3D printing;
(b) strong communication skills; and
(c) strong motivation to pursue accomplishments.
