Part-time Project Assistant

[Appointment period: twelve months]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Venue and exhibition designer”. He/She will be required to:
(a) develop and implement the School’s collaborative projects, exhibitions, marketing and promotional campaigns, as well as other initiatives;
(b) assist in the preparation, implementation and logistic support for the School’s exhibitions and outreach activities including but not limited to conferences, seminars, gatherings and promotional campaigns;
(c) liaise with students and technical support team on exhibition and event setup;
(d) assist in workshop promotion and registration;
(e) handle written and telephone inquiries from internal units as well as external organisations and partners;
(f) handle administrative and documentation work; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification with relevant work experience in design projects, exhibitions and/or events management;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(d) be a good team player and able to work independently.
Preference will be given to those with knowledge of interior and environmental design.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
