Research Assistant

[Appointment period: six months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Empowering homebound older adults in self-care using a mobile health-assisted, person-centred care approach: A hybrid effectiveness-implementation design”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in recruiting patients and collecting data;
(b) liaise with participants and community/hospital staff to facilitate the study progression and management;
(c) perform statistical analysis; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have experience in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis;
(c) have experience in interviewing people;
(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese;
(e) have good interpersonal and communication skills;
(f) be able to work independently; and
(g) be interested in working with elderly.
