Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Development of system for information sharing and research support”. He/She will be required to:
(a) provide comprehensive IT support to the Unit, including PC management, user account administration and event AV setup and operation;
(b) assist in the maintenance, preparation and coordination of computers and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of teaching and research laboratories;
(c) order laboratory consumables and equipment;
(d) provide technical and administrative assistance to the General Office;
(e) assist in implementing Health and Safety policies of the University; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in Information Technology, Engineering or other related disciplines;
(b) at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience;
(c) knowledge of e-learning and AI platforms;
(d) good computer literacy;
(e) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua;
(f) strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies; and
(g) good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
Preference will be given to those with immediate availability.
