Part-time Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “Legal foundation model system”. He/she will serve as AI Engineer and also be required to:
(a) conduct AI-related researches focusing on intelligent decision-making, data-driven modeling, and interpretable expert system, etc.;
(b) mine hidden patterns in domain data, build domain-specific datasets tailored for AI model training, and support domain adaptation training of AI models;
(c) assist the project leader in publishing AI-related academic papers, and organising technical sharing sessions and academic seminars, and; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree in Computer Science, Management Science or other related disciplines or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) be proficient in programming tools such as Python or Matlab; and have practical experience in AI model and algorithm design;
(c) have strong research background and publications in fields of intelligent decision-making, data-driven modeling, interpretable expert system; and
(d) have strong written and spoken English and Chinese language skills, a strong learning ability, and team spirit.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$385 per hour.
