Duties 

The appointee will join the Technology Transfer Assessment Unit in the Office of the Senior Vice President (Research and Innovation) and he/she will be required to:

(a)    provide support in reviewing all documentation pertaining to knowledge transfer, commercialisation, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship (KTE) and the related investment activities of the University;

(b)    organise and maintain documentation, compliance records and other relevant files in an efficient and secure manner;

(c)    prepare reports and handle enquires;

(d)    maintain accurate records of committee meetings, decisions and follow-up actions discussed during the meetings; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President (Research and Innovation) or his/her delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have:

(a)    a recognised degree;

(b)    at least five years of solid and relevant administrative and supervisory experience gained in higher education institutions or similar organisations; 

(c)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); and

(d)    good organisation, communication, writing skills and attention to details.

Preference will be given to those with sound knowledge of intellectual property, technology transfer, entrepreneurship and investment activities.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
